Born and based in London, Olivia achieved her BArch at the University of Nottingham and her MArch at the Bartlett School of Architecture. She is currently working as a designer in China on concept design for large scale retail and luxury experiences. link 1 link 2 Meanwhile, she works as a private art and architecture tutor and a guest critic at the University of Westminster, the University of Nottingham and the Bartlett.
As an architectural designer, Olivia’s background is the cornerstone of her creative practice, both in forms and medium. If pencil on paper is the traditional language of architects to explore space, Olivia makes that language sing. She uses ecological trauma and sculptural forms to study spiritual malignancy, often employing spatial and architectural alignments of said forms to lead the eye across the page.
